MONUMENT TO THE ROLE OF NATIONAL SERVICEMEN (9 June 1997)

Motion Details

That this House recognises the important strategic role in the nation's defence played by the two million national servicemen who served during the years of conscription between 1947 and 1963; and asks the Government to consider the erection of some form of national monument in recognition and memory of their service.
