Motion Details
That this House condemns the decision of the United Bank Limited to derecognize the Banking Insurance and Finance Union as a prelude to large scale redundancies; and calls upon the bank to reinstate such recognition and re-enter discussions with the trade union with a view to agreeing severance terms comparable not only with other institutions in the finance sector but also with those available to UBL staff in other parts of the organisation.
