PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PRAYERS (15 July 1997)

Motion Details

That this House should recommend to Madam Speaker that, without derogating from the important role of the Speaker's Chaplain in the life and work of the House and of those working in the Palace of Westminster, the daily prayers should be conducted on a more ecumenical basis by clergy of the various Christian denominations and of other faiths on a rota broadly reflecting the support of the various denominations and faiths in the United Kingdom.
