Lerwick: the Town Hall from Bressay Sound
Looking from the Northlink ferry which has just set sail for Aberdeen, over the top of the harbour (three masts belonging to a tall ship can be seen at the bottom of the picture) towards the Town Hall, whose clock tower surveys the town from its high vantage point.

Lerwick Town Hall (North Elevation)
The Town Hall is a two-storey, five-bay symmetrical Gothic and Flemish Baronial style town hall, with a square-plan, battlemented clock tower to the rear (east). The building which dates from 1881-3, is a Category A listed building (Historic Scotland LB37256 http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB37256 ). The north gable features this large rose window.

Lerwick: Town Hall clock
A nighttime view of the clock at the top of Image, which was built in 1887 to mark Queen Victoria's silver jubilee. The chimes, which mark every quarter hour similarly to Big Ben, were put in at the same time.
