Ye Olde Three Tuns on Finkle Street is a 13th Century Coaching Inn, still with its original beams & log fires. It is the oldest pub in Thirsk and it is rumoured that Dick Turpin was seen here!

A blue plaque on the wall of this building says;
"This building erected c1850 served as the office of the local Registrar of Births and Deaths and later as the office of the Clerk to the Board of Guardians and the Rural District Council".
