Footpath across a freshly tilled field
One has the option here of walking the line of the path across the field to the gate which is visible on the far side, and ending up with messy shoes, or taking the long way round at the field edge. The usual case of farmers ignoring paths and ploughing or sowing across them.

According to descriptions made by other contributors in past years, this appears to have once been a thriving 'gastropub', but different websites now suggest closure around 2013. The building now appears to be empty and uncared for.
