Former school in Harome
The old village school and school house are adjacent to the church and probably date from about the same period [1860's]. Now converted for domestic use. The nearest primary school would now be in Helmsley.

Star Inn, Harome
Well renowned for its gourmet food, this ancient establishment supports a thatched roof - rare for Yorkshire, although there are others in the village of Harome. Pantiles has always been the favoured material around the North York Moors
