Despite the name, this has never been a pub, the name being not untypical for a Chinese takeaway, which it currently is. Late 18th century house with retail facility added later, Listed Grade II.

The New Inn, Easingwold
One of the pubs situated on Long Street,the main route through the town. Easingwold was once the first stop for coaches on the route north from York towards Yarm, Durham and Newcastle.
