Passing trains at Hammerton
The section between here and Cattal is the only two-track part of the line between Knaresborough and Poppleton, so trains are timed to pass at Hammerton. In this instance the York bound train (right) was running a couple of minutes late and the Leeds rain had already departed. Viewed from Hammerton station platform.
