Hob Moor, York
North-eastern corner of the site, looking along the path leading to Holly Bank Grove. Hob Moor is part of Micklegate Stray and is one of York's four Local Nature Reserves. It has been used for grazing since the mediaeval period. It is still used for grazing in the summer but is also valuable for wildlife and flora, as well as recreation.
