The clock face is a givaway as to what this building used to be. Terry's now no longer make chocolate here in York. Taken from 4th floor of the Ebor stand at the racecourse.

Now rather grandly called "The Residence". Each building, now converted or being converted into apartments, is listed: "a group consisting of headquarters offices, factory, clocktower, Time office block and liquor factory, which were all built at the same time. The complex is a strong group in architectural terms, presenting a unified style which reflects the strength and importance of the corporate image of Terry's chocolate firm. Founded in 1767 this was the home of chocolate and confectionery makers "Terry's" until 2005, when it was closed by Kraft's. The site is now being re-developed as The Clock Tower - bespoke apartments and penthouses for residential purposes. Passed by on the Trans Pennine Trail
