The Bolts
Narrow alleyways, with cobbles either side of the flagstones, are normal in Baytown. The archway leads to a number of cottages, and also gives access to the side of King's Beck. On New Road, from which the photograph was taken, the shop offers fresh fruit and other necessities.

Muir Lea Stores, Robin Hood's Bay
According to the shop's website, Muir Lea Stores offers locals, day trippers and people staying in the village 'a large range of goods from food to wine, newspapers to milk, and beach toys to gifts'. Perhaps the range of buckets and spades is a little optimistic for a cold dull day in December. The Covid-19 notice specifies only three customers inside at any one time and asks anyone with a cough or fever not to enter.
