Bus shelter on Helredale Road
In most towns of this size you're lucky even to find a bus stop. Whitby seems to have a very good bus service, and many stops have these substantial brick shelters - much more vandal-proof than glass ones.

Recent burials in Whitby cemetery
Burials seem to have started at the western (Larpool Lane) end of the cemetery in the 19th century, and by the early 21st century had nearly reached the eastern end at Helredale Road.
