Construction on Larpool Lane
A large housing development opposite the cemetery. On the far side they houses should have wonderful panoramic views over the River Esk and Whitby town, but I couldn't see.

Larpool Lane Cemetery Lodge
Built in 1862, probably by James Pritchett who designed the chapels in the cemetery. Gothicised coursed rubble lodge with ashlar dressings,a slate roof and grouped chimneys. A grade II listed building. See Image
