Sneaton Castle and St Hilda's Priory (5)
The castle itself dates back to the 19th Century, probably circa 1830. Built in ashlar stone, comprising crenellated centre section with 5 sash windows, and flanked by two taller projecting crenellated towers.

Sneaton Castle, Whitby
A castellated early C19th house built for James Wilson. Grade II listed.
It now appears to function as a venue for hire for conferences, holidays, school trips etc. On the left is the 1950s St Hilda's Priory, "the Mother house of the Order of the Holy Paraclete, an Anglican religious community".
