Wharram railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1853 by the Malton & Driffield Railway, this line soon became part of the North Eastern Railway empire. The station closed in 1950 to passengers, and completely in 1958. View south east from the road at what is now a private dwelling. The platform was to the right of the building. The short stretch of level fencing shows where the track ran into the station. See http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/w/wharram/index.shtml for more details.

Remains of Wharram Rly Bridge
The line was removed in the 1950's, as was most of the infrastructure that was worth salvaging.
