Cutting timber at Birdsall
The Birdsall Estate includes extensive woodlands and on top of the usual regular harvesting of timber the severity of the early part of this winter has brought down many trees.

Home Farm, Birdsall
The entry to Birdsall from the east is essentially through the farmyard of Home Farm though most of the activity goes on behind these buildings rather than between them. Home Farm (now the office of the Birdsall Estate Company) faces down the street. It dates from about 1820.
