Malton town centre, St Michael's parish church
Through very tight planning regulations, Ryedale District Council must be congratulated (for once!) for allowing the town to stay quaint and old-world yet still progress with the times. Malton is a very nice place to live.

G Woodall & Sons shop
One of those country town shops that are rare these days. The sign reads 'Rope, net and cover makers'. Not the sort of shop that is found in a 21st century shopping mall.
