Ramshackle buildings
It's astonishing these have survived so long as the quality of materials is quite poor and they were probably only intended as temporary. They are in use as a sort of storage/workshop/shop unit but rare to see anything actually going on! They add much character to the Cattle Market area, but seem unlikely to survive the redevelopment plans. Like many buildings in Malton, the limestone used in construction has weathered to the point it crumbles at a touch, requiring patching with bricks or other material.
