Cycle stands, Quay Road, Bridlington
A row of rails for parking cycles on the wide pavement of Quay Road in Bridlington. The stands have a simplistic form of a penny farthing bicycle at either end.

Bridlington YO15
The Main Post Office in Quay Road; "the first in the country to be purpose built and fully automatic". It was rebuilt in 1951 to replace a 1920s building that had been destroyed by enemy action on 18-19 August 1940. The unidentified 'job architect' was an Ministry of Works civil servant. This is the view towards Prospect Street (and eventually the harbour), with Bridlington's Station approach road 3-4 minutes away, behind the photographer.
