On this corner, where Belle Vue Street meets West Avenue, can be found an optician and a chiropodist. Other nearby businesses include a solicitors and a hardware shop. This is one vertex of a little square of streets which define the shopping centre of Filey.

Filey Methodist Church
On the corner of Murray Street and Chapel Street. Originally a Wesleyan chapel, built in 1877 by architect John Petch, it was rebuilt in 1923 after a fire in 1918 and has since been reordered with modern facilities.
