Wykeham railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1882 by the North Eastern Railway on the line from Pickering to Seamer, this station closed in 1950.
Forecourt and former weighbridge office.

Old milepost
Pastoral surroundings for the milepost at the east end of Wykeham on the A170. Travelling from Scarborough the mileposts at 3, 4, 5 and 6 miles are still in situ but it will be 3 more miles before the next NRYCC post is seen.

Old milepost
At the east end of Wykeham this milepost is cared for. Probably cast at the foundry of F Mattison & Co. Bedale though because the post is so near the wall, inside the back where they cast their name, cannot be seen. PICKERING 11 is on the right face.
