Little steam engine Georgina pulls a rake of 5 carriages on the Scarborough North Bay Miniature Railway. This train is heading towards the station at Peasholm Park from the opposite end of the line at Scalby Mills. It is seen here from the footbridge which crosses the line close to the middle of North Bay.

Footbridge over the miniature railway
Now celebrating its 83rd year, the North Bay Railway has been operating trains since 1931, taking passengers for around ¾ mile between Peasholm Park and Scalby Mills stations, offering beautiful views of Scarborough’s North Bay.
