Scarborough : Victorian post office, Huntriss Row
The building dates from 1881 and was designed by James Williams, architect in the Office of Works. The building was in use as a post office until c. 1909-1910 when a new building was opened in Aberdeen Walk.

Conservative Club, Huntriss Row
This building was designed by Henry A Cheers of Twickenham in 1887 for the Scarborough Constitutional Club Company. he won an architectural competition for the design; there were 90 entries. It was opened in 1888 by the then prime Minister, the Marquis of Salisbury. It is in brick with stone trim in a combination of the Tudor and Baroque styles unusual in Scarborough
