Sign for the Shakespeare Inn, Scarborough

Queen Street junction with Elder's Street
At the junction with Elder's Street is this group of stuccoed buildings dating from the early part of the 19th century. At one time they all had shop fronts at ground floor level. At the other side of the junction is the Black Swan public house.
