Pools on the Penk, near Codsall, Staffordshire
Developed (here, in the 1990s) by damming the River Penk in appropriate places, the meadows now form an attractive environment for wildlife and anglers (!) because the site is quiet, secluded, and the trees and shrubs are now well established .

A coarse fishery on the outskirts of Wolverhampton, run privately by a membership syndicate, with no day tickets available. Not that anyone was fishing today, nor any herons for that matter.

Pools for Anglers, near Codsall, Staffordshire
