Cruising on the Shropshire Union Canal near Wolverhampton
This is a Jolly Good place on the Shropshire Union Canal because the waterway has just left Wolverhampton at Pendeford, and entered Staffordshire, en route for Brewood and Market Drayton. Looking north-west from Droveway Bridge, No 3A. Pendeford Wood is off to the right (aka Pendeford Public Nature Walk). Braidbar Boats in Cheshire build some of the finest narrowboats available, and have recently passed 200. The 60 feet long Jolly Good was runner up for the Crick Boat Show 2019 favourite narrowboat award. https://www.braidbarboats.co.uk/

The Droveway Bridge near Pendeford in Wolverhampton
The modern* Droveway Bridge is No 3A across the Shropshire Union Canal. Beyond it is Turnover Bridge (No 3), where the design is such that horses could cross the canal and continue without being unhitched from their boats. Turnover Bridge was also carried a track between the former Barnhurst Farm and Pendeford Farm (Now Lower Penderford Farm). The bridge was required in the early 1970s following the construction of a large housing estate on the former Wolverhampton Municipal Airport at Pendeford.
