Bus loading on Bakers Way, Codsall
Travel West Midlands 690, an Optare Excel, loads at the Bakers Way terminus of route 5 before returning to Wolverhampton city centre. At this point, it is facing away from its destination: shortly after departure, it will use a turning facility behind the photographer to head back along Bakers Way and towards its destination.

The plaque explains the presence of this artwork in the village: 'This statue by Sir Charles Wheeler K.C.V.O. (1892-1974), president of the Royal Academy 1956-66, was bequeathed to Codsall, the parish of his birth and was erected in European Architectural Year 1975.'

The Crown, Codsall
This pub - the oldest in Codsall - was acquired by Joule's Brewery in 2015 and thoroughly refurbished. Joules is a reincarnation of an old Staffordshire brewing firm, now based in Market Drayton, Shropshire. The name gives rise to the appalling 'Crown Joules' pun, but the pub is well recommended. In the foreground is a sign advertising a local butcher.
