Boningale Nuresies date from the early 1900s and were well known for their Delphiniums and Russell Lupins. The Garden Centre has now gone and the firm specialises on their landscaping trade.

2014 Pattingham Bells cross country race
Ascending a nasty little rise under the pylons behind Boningale; this is the 25th anniversary of the Pattingham Bells run, which started life as a fundraiser for the restoration of the bells in Pattingham church, and is now a firm favourite local race.

Fishing pool at Boningale
This picture looks out across the pool, over the Shropshire countryside, and on a clearer day the Wrekin is visible in the distance.
The manequin by the side of the pool is placed to scare away the fish-stealing cormorants.

Fishing pool at Boningale
This spring-fed pool at Boningale is run by Albrighton Anglers, and has about 25 pegs in place. It wasn't fishing well tonight, apparently. The building just visible through the trees is Boningale Manor.
