Smestow Valley Local Nature Reserve
The reserve follows the corridor containing the Smestow Brook, Staffs& Worcs Canal and the disused GWR railway. The trails continue beyond the city into the Staffordshire countryside.

Smestow Brook in the Valley Park
The Smestow Brook flows down towards Compton. The Brook rises near the centre of Wolverhampton and flows down to the Stour below Stourbridge. On the outskirts of town it looks somewhat different to how it smells!

Wolverhampton Multiple Sclerosis Society Therapy Centre
The centre in Newbridge on the banks of Staffs & Worcs Canal with boats for outings. The cyclist heading off towards Compton is a policeman on a mountain bike patrolling the Smestow Valley Park.
