The Summerhouse - a new lease of life?
The Summerhouse on the Newhampton Road/Lloyd Street corner has been closed for a long while; as I went past this morning, the steel shutters had been removed, and a job of painting was underway. By the evening, an amount of scaffolding was up at the front, and the titivation continued. There's hope for the old place yet.

Housing in Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton
Tettenhall Road is the A41 road to Newport, Whitchurch and Chester. As Wolverhampton spread along this road in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, most of the dwellings were built for the more affluent members of society.
The current satellite image shows that the nearer of these two blocks have had the back gardens stripped out and levelled, presumably for car parking, so maybe these have now been converted into flats.
