The Smithy
In the late 1950s this was the home of the famous Turner Sports Car. The prototype was put together in the garage. Petula Clark was an owner of one in 1958. The marque was short lived as Turners went into voluntary liquidation in 1966.

An endangered species, the local village post office is the only shop for miles. Confusingly this is not in Post Office Road.

The Old Manor House, Seisdon
The white stone gives the initials H+E W 1684 for Hugh and Elizabeth Wrottesley. The house was modified in the 19th century.
