Contractors access at Penn Cricket Club, Wolverhampton
The western end on Penn Cricket Club's ground is sloping and has been rough grass for many years. Recently, a lot of work has been under way to raise and partly level this area to lay two football pitches., making more useful use of the non cricket playing area.

I know the barrier is up, but the sign reads "Penn Cricket Club. Private cricket ground. No unauthorised access. No dog walkers". Best to keep out then!

This shows Mount Road, looking south towards Wakeley Hill and Penn Common. Manor Road and Muchall Park are off to the right.
Two falls of snow within 48 hours resulted in a total depth on local open grassy areas of 15-18cm.
