Bricks ancient and modern
This is the north side of George Street in Wolverhampton. Most buildings are Georgian, like the one on the right, built in the late eighteenth century, many Grade II listed. Beyond the green door is an office building, supposedly designed to be sympathetic to the street's character, and constructed in 1989.
