Former Town Hall Hotel
The pub built in 1874 next to the Town Hall was originally known as the Town Hall Hotel, subsequently becoming a Berni Inn, then the Town Hall Tavern, the Terrazzo Café Bar, and then the Little Civic. Last used as a bar called Numa but now the windows are whitewashed, so what next?

Wolverhampton Town Hall (detail)
This is looking up at the south end of the frontage. The building, which replaced a previously demolished town hall built in 1687, was designed by Manchester architect Ernest Bates and built by Phillip Horsman of Wolverhampton in the French Renaissance style, with a sandstone façade and rusticated plinth. The building was officially opened on 19th October 1871. It is now used as a magistrates court. http://www.localhistory.scit.wlv.ac.uk/articles/VictorianBuildings/CivicBuildings.htm Image]
