Looking north from the car park over the Wulfrun Centre. Bell Street is between the foreground cars and those in the middle. Mander House (without the letters on!) dominates the scene on the left. The redbrick building is offices over part of the Mander Centre.

Rooftop car parks and Mander House in Wolverhampton
The Mander Centre and the office block were built in the 1960s and are undergoing considerable rebuilding, starting in January 2016. The large polythene sheeting covered area on the left hides the roofglass of the main Mander shopping area, where the builders are hard at work. Note the absence of the Mander House lettering, which has been temporarily removed while the extensive building activity progresses.

The former Jessops shop, Wolverhampton Mander Centre
On the lower (ground floor) level of the Mander Centre, this was until recently the Wolverhampton presence of the Leicester-based Jessops photographic retail business. They'd moved here several years ago from a larger shop in the outdoor pedestrian precinct, at a time roughly coinciding with the upturn in digital photography and the associated downturn in developing & printing, which used to operate at the rear of the larger shop. This smaller store carried on business until late 2012 or very early 2013, at which point the poster on the window suggests that the operation was moving back outside the Mander Centre again. That may not actually have happened, as the whole firm went into administration in January 2013, closing all its 187 stores nationwide, with the loss of over 1350 jobs.
