Midland Metro tram no. 20 on display at St. Georges, Bilston Street, Wolverhampton
On display for a few hours at St. Georges stop on Saturday 14th June 2014 was this new Midland Metro tram no. 20 made by the Spanish firm CAF. It is one of a new fleet (numbered 17 to 36) currently in course of delivery. The first four are expected to enter public service around August Bank Holiday 2014. There is an option for up to a further five trams and maybe some or all of these will be needed for a proposed tramway extension to Wolverhampton's railway station. The bus on the right is National Express West Midlands no. 5516 on Service 1 to Tettenhall Wood via Tettenhall Road. See also:- Image

Midland Metro trams nos. 09 & 20 at St. Georges, Bilston Street, Wolverhampton
Number 09, on the left, is an Ansaldo type T-69 tram about to depart on the service to Birmingham Snow Hill Railway Station. The other vehicle is no. 20 a new CAF Urbos 3 which was here on display to the public for a few hours. It had already been on public display at Snow Hill on the 5th April 2014. See also:- Image

Midland Metro trams nos. 16 & 20 at St. Georges, Bilston Street, Wolverhampton
Ansaldo type T-69 Tram no. 16 is still in the original livery. Tram no. 20 is a new CAF Urbos 3 type which was on public display here for a few hours. It is in the current "magenta and silver" livery.
