Tata Steel - Wednesfield Steel Park
The Steel Park is Tata Steel's largest distribution facility and provides employment for around 600. The large sheds house slitting and profiling machinery to process light gauge coil for the automotive and light engineering industries. Coil is delivered by rail from Llanwern to the Steel Terminal at Round Oak near Brierley Hill and then by road. The site was acquired by Schroder's UK Property Investment Fund in 2014 and is leased to Tata Steel. How this site would be affected by possible closure of Tata Steel's steelmaking business is uncertain.
