King Street in Wolverhampton
Looking north-east towards Princess Street.
This is never a busy throughway, but here it is totally deserted at lunchtime, in the sun on a weekday.
Coronavirus Covid-19 lockdown regulations started on 20 March 2020, so only food shops and pharmacies are allowed to remain open, and people are supposed to stay at home, except for sessential (food and medicine) shopping and an hour's local exercise.

King Street, looking west
This street has perhaps the greatest concentration of old buildings in the City Centre. It was part of the expansion of the town in the late 18th century, and most of the original buildings on this side of the street survive, almost all Listed Grade II.
