The Prince Albert, Wolverhampton
One of the larger late Victorian pubs still trading in Wolverhampton near the station. I must find out whether all those rooms upstairs are now used, and for what.

Chubb's Building and The Prince Albert, Wolverhampton
The Chubb building, built in 1898-99 was restored and extended in the early 1990s. Closer attention to the brickwork is worth while. The pub (on the right) looks a little dilapidated at present. I hope it is preserved.

The Chubb Building, Wolverhampton
The building dates from 1898-1899 and was restored and extended in the early 1990s. Although it is in the style of a Victorian warehouse, Chubb's actually used it as a manufactory. Locks and safes were a historically important local industry from Wolverhampton through to Willenhall in the east.
