Former County Court in Queen Street
The court was originally built in 1813 as Assembly Rooms and was later home to a subscription library in the 1840s. The Coat of Arms adorns the first floor frontage on Queen Street. It is currently a themed Australian pub.

Princess Alley
Service road at the back of Queen Street. The workshops were in the heart of the bicycle trade from the 1890s. Viking cycles operated in premises here from 1935 to 1960 with a shop on the corner of Princess Street.

Old Troccadero (sic) Block
Original details of this building are uncertain, but the use of decorative terracotta is in a style which puts it in the late 19th century. The name is what now appears over the entrance to the upper floor apartments - did it at some time house a club called the Trocadero?
