Parade of shops - Belton Avenue
Contemporary with the estate of mid 1950s housing. The middle shop now occupied by the fast food outlet was once the local butchers with sawdust on the floor.
How long Tasty's will last is open to question as there seems to have been a new owner every year.

Jackson's Family Butchers - Underhill Estate
Just after 7am the butchers are opening up and preparing to deliver freshly sliced bacon to their retail customers. The family business has been here for many years. This shop and another half a mile away at the Scotlands are the only surviving butchers in north and northwest Wolverhampton. The nearest shops are in Wednesfield and the city centre.
