The decision will be made next week on whether or not this village Post Office is to close down in the summer of 2008. The date 1894 appears on the porch.

Shareshill Village Post Office, Staffordshire
Ironic! The newspaper placard outside says, "Part of the Family". Post Offices have been "part of the family" for over a century. This one is expecting the decision next week whether it will be closed or not. If so, it will cease to trade in the summer of 2008.
