At the point where the A4148 Walsall ring road crosses the line that runs from Walsall town centre, past Bescot Stadium Station (which serves the football ground) and on to join the West Coast Main Line into Birmingham New Street. It looks like track replacement works are in progress a couple of hundred yards away on the single track on the right, which leads to West Bromwich.

Advertising next to the M6
Over the years there has been a rash of large advertising signs appearing between M6 Junction 9 and the M5 junction. These are sited around the Bescot Stadium or brown field sites next to the motorway. The motorway is on a raised viaduct across the River Tame flood plain.
