The former Whitehall Schools building
A Grade II listed building on West Bromwich Road, dating from 1899, http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-491899-whitehall-schools- ; the large carved plaque on the gable of the central bay states 'WALSALL SCHOOL BOARD' and has an engraved oval panel above it, with the bear and staff of Staffordshire. It now serves as the Whitehall Nursery and Infant School.

This pub is one of the Caldmore areas older pubs and is still a fine traditional ale house, it has undergone some much needed renovations and now looks set to continuing serving its thirsty customers for a few more years to come.
