Old Shannon's Mill site
This was once the site of a landmark building in Walsall, the Shannon's Mill which was sadly destroyed in a fire. There is a photograph on this the Geograph site of Shannon's Mill before the fire, taken from what was the Sainsbury's car park. This photograph was taken from the top of the new Asda multi storey car park.

John Shannon & Sons Ltd, George Street, Walsall
Leather goods factory. Of interest to me as it had a fan driven by a steam engine by Bumsted & Chandler of Hednesford. This mill later became disused and was later still destroyed by fire. The site was then cleared.
