Taken on a very cold 8/2/91 the weather conditions could be described as inclement as Wimblebury freezes under a light coating of snow. In the distance the Hednesford hills dominate the skyline, the Raceway nestling in a former reservoir.

A narrow track on the old opencast site
The site appears to be used (mis-used?) by trailbikes, with the result that a number of illicit tracks are being opened across the grasslands.
