Ombersley Road ends as a road for motor vehicles the other side of the railway bridge. Here it has turned into a path, and is going up to meet Ombersley Way. The traffic lights are for a pedestrian crossing of Ombersley Way.

Divergent footpath to Ledwych Gardens
It is often much easier to get around Droitwich on foot or cycle than it is by car so it is a shame that the roads leading out are so dangerous for cyclists.
Fortunately the national cycle paths provide longer but safer routes.
