St. Nicholas' Church (1), Ombersley Street West
Surprisingly for a town its size, Droitwich still has four active Anglican churches. The newest is that of St. Nicholas, but even so it dates from Victorian times. It was designed by John Smith of Droitwich, and built in 1867-69, with some later additions and alterations. Image

St. Nicholas' Church (2), Ombersley Street West
In so far as a graveyard can ever be described as attractive, then this church does have one. In recent years it has even won a best kept churchyard competition. The church has replaced its pews with chairs, to provide more flexible use, so that it is used by other organisations at times. Image

Church and churchyard, Droitwich
The Parish Church of St Nicholas viewed from the corner of Ombersley Street West and Station Street. The church is part of the Church of England Diocese of Worcester. The Parish website states that St Nicholas' Church is the most recent of the Anglican Church buildings in Droitwich. Although the name has been used for other church buildings before this one, the present day church is a Victorian building, and often one of the first that a visitor to Droitwich sees, since it is opposite the main entrance to the railway station.
