Path through Croome Perry Wood. It wasn't till I got back to the road that I saw the partially hidden and factually inaccurate "trespassers will be prosecuted" sign.

Heading home to Paddington behind Gresley pacific No. 60009 Union of South Africa. Conditions were very gloomy at about 16:48 hours.

Railway near Croome Park
Seen from the over bridge on Rebecca Road. The bridge over the train is on a private track and not accessible to the public. The train is the Cotswold Venturer, operated by the Railway Touring Company and hauled by Gresley A4 pacific No. 60009 Union of South Africa. This locomotive is soon to be retired from active service as its boiler 'ticket' is set to expire. This was at about 16:48 on a February afternoon and suitably flat and gloomy.

Cotswolds Venturer returning to London
Via the Golden Valley route through Stroud. Seen near Croome in Worcestershire. The locomotive is Bulleid rebuilt 'Merchant Navy' Pacific (4-6-2) Clan Line and she was on time. It was a dull afternoon between showers.

A Cross country train near Croome
This is heading north towards Worcester at a fair rate of knots. The bridge is on a private road. This is a good location for catching afternoon steam specials heading out of Worcester.
